AHI fixed my hip pain — on my own terms!

"When my hip pain started over 2 years ago, I struggled to find a doctor who made me feel comfortable, or who could do the minimally-invasive anterior approach robotic hip replacement that I preferred. My hip pain got worse and worse, until I could no longer buy shoes that had laces. I couldn't even put socks on! Everyday tasks became a painful challenge.

The operation went smoothly and I was back on my feet in no time. Just hours after arriving home after surgery, I was up and walking! Within two weeks, I was back at the gym working out. The clinical team had said to me before surgery, "One day, because it will feel so normal, you'll forget we ever replaced your hip.” Of course, they were right! I have zero pain, zero discomfort, and everything has been fabulous.

I only wish I had come to American Hip Institute sooner — I put up with all of this pain for years for nothing! I know I'm going to need my right hip replaced as well, and this time, I'm not going to wait. At the first sign of pain, I'm getting it replaced.
