I just want to tell AHI that they did the best job with my hip!

"The summer going into my last hockey season at Northeastern University, I noticed that I was having a lot of lower back pain, and that pain was turning into some pretty severe sciatica on my left side. For almost that entire summer I thought the problem was just in my back – because I’ve had some injuries in the past – but in the back of my mind I knew there was probably something else wrong. Eventually, I decided I should get my hip checked out; when I came in to see the American Hip Institute team, they told me that hip impingement and a torn labrum were causing my pain. After they diagnosed what was wrong, we set a date for surgery, and they were able to fix the labrum and reconstruct my femoral head. It ended up being a 5 or 6 hour surgery, and I’ve been feeling good since. I’m now back to playing hockey as a redshirt senior, and I just want to tell the American Hip Institute team that they did the best job with my hip!"
